How to paint a landscape with oil or acrylic colours

First, you need to tint the sheet with ultramarine, ochre or other natural shade, because white paper or canvas prevents you from picking up colors. Besides, white spots are hard to get rid of.  After tinting the sheet  you need to define the overall composition with translucent paint. You should work quickly, within two or three hours, because the weather may change and the location of shadows with the movement of the sun will also change. Smears should be done with a large brush, working at once the whole picture. It is necessary to make sure that at each stage of the work the picture is complete. You would only add details in the process. One cannot be fixed on one element while the others remain unfinished. The main elements are distinguished by more pastoral brushstrokes and contrast, saturated color, and peripheral elements are written watercolor, color is used more calm, with earthy shades.
